Rijnhaven: both peace and quiet, and entertainment

The Rijnhaven area will be gaining some 2,500 extra homes, as well as new, affordable locations for economic activity and offices. The new mixed neighbourhood will accommodate a wide range of target groups and income brackets. And it will feature a new, 8-ha city park, which will include floating elements that bob on the local tide. A great place for recreating, relaxing and even outdoor entertainment. Arends: ‘It will have footpaths and bike paths for a “Rijnhaven Round Trip”, but also room for hosting a public festival. In other words: both peace and quiet, and entertainment.’
